Makes 1 small jar of compote.
- 500 g sour cherries, pitted
- 2 tbsp. honey
- 2 cinnamon sticks
How to do it
- In a pot or a pan cook the honey and cinnamon until lightly golden.
- Add cherries and cook for 15 minutes or until the texture is like a light sirup.
- Allow it to cool down and serve with toast and cheese.
