Lamb Kebab

Lamb kebab

Serves 4



  • 600 g minced organic lamb meat
  • 100 ml chopped parsley
  • 50 ml chopped thyme
  • ½ lemon zest and juice
  • 1 tbsp virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper

How to do it

Combine all ingredients in a bowl and salt to taste. Shape into kebabs and put them on skewers. Grill the kebabs or cook the in an oven on high heat for 6-7 minutes or until done. Serve the kebab in soft thin bread with a hot yoghurt sauce, mache salad and sauerkraut.

Hot yoghurt sauce:


  • 200 ml Turkish yoghurt
  • 50 ml sambal olek
  • ½ lemon juice only
  • 2 tbsp fresh chopped mint

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.

For serving

  • 8 pcs soft thin bread
  • 100 g mache salad
  • 200 g sauerkraut
