- 1 kg blue mussels
- 1 tbsp. butter
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 fresh onion or 2 spring onions
- 300 ml light lager beer
- 2 leaves lovage
- 400 g small tomatoes in different colours
How to do it
Clean the mussels and throw away any dead or damaged ones.
Peel and chop the garlic and onion.
Fry the garlic and onion in a very hot pot for 10 seconds. Add the mussels and the beer. Put a lid on the pot immediately and cook the mussels for 3-4 minutes.
Chop the lovage and cut the tomatoes in large pieces.
Add tomatoes and lovage to the hot mussels and salt to taste.
