Reindeer Gurpi and Mash

Reindeer gurpi and mash

Serves 4



  • 1 gurpi approx. 500 g
  • 1 tbsp butter

How to do it

Cut into slices approx. 2 cm thick and fry until golden in a little butter.
Serve the gurpi with mushrooms, mashed potatoes and lingonberries.



  • 100 g shiitake mushrooms
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 2 tbsp butter

How to do it

Peel the onion and slice it thin. Cut the mushrooms in half. Fry in butter for 3-4 minutes and then add thyme and salt to taste.



  • 700 g almond potatoes
  • 100 ml thick yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp butter

How to do it

Peel and cook the potatoes in water for 10-20 minutes or until soft. Strain off the water and mash the potatoes. Add butter, yoghurt and salt to taste.


  • 200 g lingonberries
  • 50 ml spruce syrup or sugar

Combine in a bowl at least ten minutes before serving.
